Stefan A. Malicki b.1913 was an Associate Judge of the Court of Appeal in Poznan, Poland from 1938. At the time of the Nazi invasion of Poland in September 1939 he was mobilized as an officer and escaped to Great Britain when the Soviets invaded 17 days later. There he joined the Second Polish Parachute Brigade stationed in Scotland. During the war he also worked with the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish Combatants' Association. In 1951 he emigrated to Canada, finished Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the bar in Ontario in 1959. He was the founder of Malicki & Malicki which firm has continued serving clients in the GTA and the Province of Ontario until today.
